Brand New - The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows, Deja Entendu (2003)

Remember when Deja Entendu came out and you had pre-ordered a copy but still walked to Best Buy that morning to get a second copy because you had to have it that exact second? And you listened to it over and over in your discman and it blew your fucking mind because it wasn’t anything like Your Favorite Weapon and you didn’t understand how a band could progress that much in two years? And you ended up seeing them like, five times in one year in the tristate area? And then six or seven times after that? And you thought you were going to die when you met Jesse Lacey because you were a teenager? And also you still haven’t really gotten over your crush on him? Or is that just me?
